INTERNAL WALLS WATERPROOFING / DAMPNESS TREATMENT :

Internal Walls will damp patches are generally the result of penetrating water form Internal Wet areas: Bathrooms/Wash area attached walls, Balconys. This is the indication of waterproofing system failure at these areas. These are the sources cause of spread water penetration from tile/Marble joint and spread through out the living area floor below the floor. Internal wall of the particular floor absorbs these water and which results the internal walls get dam, paint will get peel off up to the height of 1-2 feet from the floor level. This will leads to damade of interiors, wooden floors, frames and doors.

However, Internal walls dampness causes asthma attacks and other upper and lower respiratory problems, allergies, irritation of the eyes, skin, nose, throat and lungs, asthma other helth issues.

Two steps of solving Internal Wall Dampness.

A). Treating the source the Dampness.
Product: Nitotile EPW (Epoxy Grout for Till/stone Joints)
Epoxy Grout is non-shrink stain free acid resistance grout, which will not allow of water penetration from the joints.
Application:
Cut the tile joints with cutting machine , making 2-3mm grove. Mixing the three components of as pre measured ratio, Placing of Nitotile EPW mixture in to joints, cleaning the excess material with shampo water with sponge with in 25 min from the application, allow to dry for 12 hrs.

B). Treating the Damp Effected Walls.
Product Used: FOSROC Nitocote CM 210 is a two component cementitious waterproofing material suitable for damp effected walls nagative side application. Withstands high negative hydrostatic pressure over cementitious surfaces. It is used as an internal application for the damproofing treatments with anti-microbial anti fungal properties. It has excellent water resistance, adhesion to concrete surface.
Application:
Identify the Damp Effected areas by using electronic moisture detector, mark those areas rectangle or square shape. Remving of existed putty for paint completely till the exposure of plastered surface by using electronic grinder, applying two layers of NITOCOTE CM210 in a perpendicular It’s applied in two coats with putty knife/brush/roller.
